The primary mission of the Lexington Area Sports Authority (LASA) is to promote sports in the Central Kentucky area [Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Madison, Scott, and Woodford counties] by bringing in, and supporting quality athletic events.
03/30/2006 – The finest horses and riders from around the world will soon come to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington to challenge U.S. riders in the 2006 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event.
03/30/2006 – Rupp Arena has been chosen as one of the host sites for the 2007 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament First and Second rounds on March 17 & 19.
03/30/2006 – Both the AAU Boys National 11U & 12U Division II Tournament will be held from July 22-29 at the KBA. The AAU National 15U Division II Boys Tournament will run from July 9-15 at the KBA.
03/30/2006 – For the first time in its’ illustrious history, the FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) will be held outside of Europe in 2010, when the games come to the United States.
